Thank you for your willingness to serve as a delegate. It was thrilling to witness the record-setting caucus participation last Thursday. Recognizing the trust that has been placed in you I am anxious to meet with you to ensure that I better understand the concerns of those you represent.
By way of introduction, my name is Keven J. Stratton and I am seeking to be elected and serve as your representative in the Utah House of Representatives for district 48. Let me briefly share a bit about myself and what I value as a citizen.
I was born in Provo and raised on a fruit farm in Northeast Orem. My wife and I have been blessed with eight children ranging in age from 12 to 27. I graduated from BYU in business finance and went on to complete a Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law. For more than 25 years, I have been the owner of several ongoing small businesses in Utah Valley.
As a concerned citizen I am anxious to work with my neighbors in district 48 to promote strong families, economic vitality, and limited government. These must be our filter as we address the priority issues of our day including education, taxation, health care, energy, and job growth. The process of forming public policy must be built upon the bedrock of integrity, civility, virtue, transparency, and accountability.
We can stand together and ensure that Utah remains a lighthouse of good governance to concerned citizens in every nation. In the coming days, you will be contacted to set an appointment for us to meet. I look forward to listening to and visiting with you.
As we work together I have great hope for our future. That future begins now.
Keven J. Stratton
